Cold Lake
Just 5 km (3 mi) north is Cold Lake Provincial Park, characterized by spruce woodland and a quiet bay which is a popular nesting site for waterfowl. Call 639-3341. The Kinosoo Totem Poles stand on the shores of Cold Lake. The 6.7 m (22 ft) cedar poles were carved by Chief Ovide Jacko of the Cold Lake Reserve. Warner’s World Amusement Park includes a go-kart track, kiddie cars, pillow bouncer, driving range, dune buggies, batting cages, Par T golf, beach volleyball and other attractions.
